UK: Second arrest for cyber in Talktalk
British police announced today they have arrested a second teenager in connection with cyber held against the British broadband provider Talk Talk last week.
The London Metropolitan Police announced that the 16 year old was arrested on Thursday in the direction of West London and later released on bail.
On Monday, police arrested a 15 year old in Northern Ireland, who also was released on bail.
The attack is one of the largest of its kind in Britain and may have resulted in the theft of personal data from the customers of the company, numbering more than four million, as reported in the Athenian Press Agency.
However, Talk Talk said it does not believe that the perpetrators of cyber attacks will be able to steal money from their customers.
The company announced a week ago that it received a request for ransom from strangers who claimed responsibility for cyber.
The company, at the expense of which have taken place this year other two data breaches, also announced that the attack did not affect its systems and that there was no breach of passwords of its customers to the site.
